Hailed as one of the country's leading training programs for young singers, Pittsburgh Opera Center (POC) provides professional development to ten singers during a two-year program.

Drawn from a highly-competitive application process, Opera Center artists cover principal mainstage roles, are featured in two fully-staged POC productions a year, work in masterclasses with acclaimed singers, and participate in education and outreach programs.
